Veteran’s
Day
We
will spend some time Tuesday talking about Veteran’s Day. If you have
family members who are currently serving or have served our country (living or
deceased) and have pictures of them, please send copies of the pictures to
school with your children on Monday. Please label the pictures with the
person’s name, the relationship to your child (grandfather, aunt, cousin,
etc.), the branch of the military he/she served or is currently serving in, and
the years of service. Don’t send in your only copies of photographs.
Though I plan to send them back home with your children on Wednesday, we
never know what might happen to the pictures while in those backpacks.
