If you have not already done so please log into Skyward and set up your passwords. All reportcards will be on line this year. You will be able to print them off yourself at home. If you are having problems logging in please contact the ESC offices.
Well, as mentioned in the previous posting we are now done with the MEAP. The kids were real troopers!! I am proud of them. We thank you again for sending in snacks and water for them. It made it a much more pleasant experience. :)
Language Arts: In writing we are starting to learn more about persuasive writing. What it looks like, who is our audeience, how do we we support our side. As always, in both reading and writing we are building our stamina for our independent work time.
Science: we are finishing up our unit on ecosystems next week. There will be one more quiz on habitats and the BA will be the following week.
Social Studies: We are continuing to look at our government, how it works, the three levels of government, as well as the three branches of government. Who does what job and who has the power. This unit will not be finished until the first part of the second quarter. There will not be any grades posted for the first quarter.
Math: We are finishing up Unit 2 and will be taking the BA for units one and two in two weeks. We will take the unit 2 test at the end of next week. Units 1 and 2 are mostly review of the curriculum covered in third grade.
Great job students! Thank you for all of the updates, Mrs. Morley! I love to be able to read about and see pictures of what my child is doing in 4th grade! :)

Thank you for your comments. The students are very proud of themselves as well. I am so glad that you like the new blog site. I am very excited about it and it is an easier way to keep parents informed and we are able to use photos as well. Way cool!
